Happy Mother's Day!!!

We took a Mother's day trip down to the house and I received a wonderful gift!!! Double ovens installed! My menu for my first meal is underway Roast, ham, mac n cheese, broccoli casserole, string beans, homemade potato rolls, Chocolate cake and red velvet cupcakes! We have been eating out way to much... My family needs a good home cooked meal :)

I was absolutely surprised with all of the progress because I was only told they would be painting and siding was going to start. We got there, siding had begun columns for the porch installed outside. Inside paint, all of the cabinets, doors with molding and knobs, and railings with metal balusters were installed.

There was an issue though they installed the wrong cabinets in the bathrooms. I contacted PM and he said they will be re-ordered. So far he has taken care of every other issue so I am sure that will be corrected no worries. My biggest concern now is getting our house ready to rent and finding a renter.... Anybody know any good Realtors? Here are some pics of the progress.

    1. Thanks, we were originally not going to get them because of the cost but when the new version came out the price dropped considerably.

  2. Oh the stairs are lovely! And what time is your first meal? You've got all my favorites on the menu, so I want to be sure to get there on time. ;)

Hope this last push goes smoothly. I'm sure you'll be in your lovely new kitchen before you know it!

    1. I can't wait to see them stained to match the floors. lol I can't not wait to do some real cooking. It seems like everything that was listed in the misc. section or our selections has been wrong. I hope they get the colors right.

  5. Very nice! Love the metal balusters and ORB door hardware. Sorry about the incorrect bath cabinets - bit of a hitch but fortunately something that is easily corrected :)

My current house just went on the rental market last week so I know how that is. I've got my fingers crossed that both you and I get the houses rented (and for the rent amount we need!). UGH-packing, I've been doing it in small steps now but soon it will be crunch time.

I need a home cooked meal too, and yours sounds perfect. Think I may be there with Nadine and newbie...LoL
