Follow up to our Permit status


So thanks to Brian I was able to locate our permit number and have been checking the status daily on the county's website. I called the office on Monday and spoke with the engineering office. The person I spoke with was very friendly and said they are working on it. When I checked back the next day (yes I am pressed) the Engineering plans had been approved!!!  Leaving only the Soil conservation and supervisor approvals remaining.

So of course I called the Soil conservation office and the gentleman I spoke with was very forthcoming with information and told me he was going to pull our record in the morning (today). So you know I have checked several times today to see if there has been an update. Nothing yet but I will check again there is probably a delay in the system updates....

    I'm definitely jealous that you can check your permit status online. Our county is...not that advanced, and my PM tells us that they are understaffed and that's why we are having delays. I'm hopeful that things speed up and we can have the land cleared next week! Glad to hear you are one step closer!

      I'm sure it won't be long for you guys either. I was very surprised that the county we are moving to had the system too. It is much more rual than the county we currently live in and they do not have anything like that.

    You're almost there! I would check the website 3 times a day, infact i almost didnt check it last night but my husband did and to our surprise it was approved. So keep checking and it will happen soon!!

    I believe in picking up the phone, it makes such a big difference when technology is not available!

    Getting close! I am glad I'm not the only one calling the county so frequently. Sounds like we are in the same county (Charles??)
