Window Treatments

I spent the better part of today at a Home Decor store looking for window treatments. WOW it was fun! There are so many options and the price varies so much. So here is what I am thinking. Valances in the family room, plantation shutters on the Morning room windows, Panels with roller shades in the living and Dining rooms. Opinions welcome

Fast to the Future

I got an email from guardian about the pre-wire meeting! It is on the books for next week. I drove down to the site and had a wonderful surprise waiting for me. See pictures below:) I stayed around for about an hour or so and watched them assemble part of the roof line. It is really amazing how fast and precise the framers are and on the top of the house!

I left for about 30 or 45 minutes and came back and they had already added the rest of the angles!

Men at Work

Saturday we pulled onto our street and so happy to see Men at work!!! Installing the Floor boards for the first floor. We ended up staying in the neighborhood for several hours talking to neighbors and letting our daughter play on the tot lot. 

I just had to drive back Sunday to check out the progress and they had some of the exterior walls up. They really do work fast. 

Today our awesome SR sent me a picture; from what I could tell they had all of the first floor exterior walls up and were working on the second floor joists.
